Mission & Vision
Beliefs
The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. This Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us (i.e., that we all speak the same thing, 1 Corinthians 1:10; Acts 2:42). The phraseology employed in this statement is not inspired or contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it contains all biblical truth, only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines.
Mission
Hebrews 10:19-25 summarizes the mission of the church:
To provide a place where believers may “draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith”
To help believers “hold onto the hope we profess, without wavering to the hope we profess”
To “stir up one another to love and good works”
Therefore, we:
Encourage one another to spread the love of God everywhere.
Provide a place where people may draw near to God through worship.
Offer a friendly welcome to all, regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, nationality, or background.
Minister to one another with respect and kindness and seek to live in harmony.
Continue to strive to be a church where the hurting, the lonely, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find God’s love, peace, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.
Vision
We are Passionate for God, Purposeful in Worship, Empowered with the Word of God, Anointed and Aligned with the Holy Spirit, Committed to the Community of Believers, and Evangelistic in every Endeavor, with the goal of Eternity for Everyone.
Therefore, we:
Provide sound biblical teaching.
Lead people to a personal relationship with Jesus.
Develop Christian disciples through prayer, Bible study, and accountability.
Partake in fasting and prayer to uphold each other, our mission and vision, and to combat the attacks of Satan.
Create an atmosphere where people can develop and utilize their gifts and fulfill their calling to bring glory, honor, and praise to Jesus Christ.
Develop faithful and committed leaders who will reach out and minister in the church, community, and the world at large through in-land and foreign missions.
